Jessica

Math Director

I’m Jessica, and I’m currently a student at Markville Secondary School. With both my parents in software engineering roles, I grew up surrounded by math and science. I’ve spent the last four years teaching all sorts of subjects—chemistry, biology, math, French, you name it! As someone who used to struggle at grasping difficult concepts, I understand how bumpy the road to learning is. As such, I tailor my teaching methods to my students, making their learning about what I can do for them, not what they can gain from me. In my free time, I love reading books and going on long walks, enjoying the crisp autumn air or the bright summer breeze, and you’ll seldom catch me without some sort of savoury treat in hand. Let’s work together to fill the classroom with joy and laughter!

Hello everyone, I'm Emily Hu. I'm in the twelfth grade at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School now in Ontario, Canada. I enjoy trying out various new things. Since childhood, I've loved drawing and am proficient in digital painting and ink wash painting.
